Ocean State Community Resources recognizes the commitment that Parents/Guardians make to their family members with developmental disabilities that live at home. These Parents/Guardians are tireless advocates who provide endless support.  As a means of assisting these families Ocean State Community Resources provides Respite Services.

Respite Services are awarded by a DDD Social Case Worker to adults and children with developmental disabilities that live at home and are on the Title XIX waiver.  Respite Services are designed for the individual with developmental disabilities to receive temporary, short-term care by a trained Respite Provider.
