OSCR provides a variety of residential opportunities throughout the
State of Rhode Island. From twenty-four hour supervised residential
programs to in-home family supports, we pride ourselves on providing
individualized services. OSCR's residential program can offer people
around the clock care in a community based setting such as a home, condo
or an apartment. These settings vary from group living to one or two
person shared living arrangements. All of OSCR's twenty-four hour
supervised residential programs have access to nursing supports as well.
The residential program will also assist people or
families that need home supports on a less than "around-the-clock"
basis. Services including supports such as medical, financial, personal
care, housekeeping, transportation, companionship, social skills and
cooking to name a few. These services can be provided in a family home
or in the person's own home or apartment.
All residential employees (direct support
professionals) are trained in basic-first aid, CPR, medication
administration as well as other issues such as human rights, dignity and
respect. All employees must also pass a criminal background check. |
